We are developing a children's residential care service. It is not yet open and we cannot accept any children or placements at this stage. This page explains our plans, and professionals can contact us for updates.
Our Vision
We want to create a safe, warm and stable home where children and young people can feel settled, build trusting relationships and grow in confidence.
We already support adults across Warwickshire through supported living and care at home. Our planned children's service will be built on the same values of kindness, integrity and excellence, with the aim of helping every young person to shine.
Our Planned Approach
Therapeutic, trauma-informed care
Understanding each young person's experiences and responding with patience and consistency.
Education and health first
Supporting regular attendance at school or college, homework, health appointments and wellbeing.
Staying connected
Helping young people keep in touch with family and the people who matter to them, where this is right for them.
Listening to young people
Making sure young people's views shape daily life and the decisions that affect them.
A strong safeguarding culture
Safe recruitment, clear procedures and a team that knows how to act on any concern.
Registration and Progress
Our children's home will be registered with Ofsted before it opens. Ofsted is the regulator for children's homes in England. We will update this page as our plans progress.
