Everyone has the right to live free from abuse and neglect. Our team is trained to recognise the signs, listen to the person and act quickly.
- We have a named safeguarding lead.
- Concerns are recorded, acted on and shared with the right people.
- We work with Warwickshire County Council and other local authorities, following local safeguarding procedures.
How to Raise a Concern
- Someone in immediate danger: call 999.
- About someone we support: call 02475 263024 and ask for our safeguarding lead.
- To the local authority: contact Warwickshire County Council's adult safeguarding team.
You do not need to be certain something is wrong to tell us. We will always take you seriously.

Safer Recruitment
Before anyone joins our team, we carry out:
- an enhanced DBS check
- at least two references, including the most recent employer
- a right to work in the UK check
- an interview focused on values and attitude as well as experience
Training and Supervision
New team members complete an induction based on the Care Certificate and shadow experienced colleagues before working alone. Training then continues throughout their time with us and covers:
- safeguarding adults and children
- medication support
- moving and handling
- first aid
- learning disability and autism awareness
- mental health awareness
Regular supervision and spot checks help every team member keep improving.
Medication Support
Where medication support is part of someone's care plan, only trained and assessed team members provide it. We record every dose and check records regularly. We encourage people to manage their own medication where it is safe for them to do so. We do not provide nursing care.
Reviews and Audits
- Support plans are reviewed regularly and whenever needs change, with the person and the people who matter to them.
- Managers carry out regular checks on records, medication and the quality of support.
- We ask the people we support and their families for feedback and act on what they tell us.

Feedback and Complaints
We want to hear from you, whether something has gone well or not. Tell any member of our team, call 02475 263024 or use our contact form. We will listen, look into it properly and explain what we will do.
If you are not happy with our final response, you can ask the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (opens in a new tab) to look at your complaint. It is free and independent.
Protecting Your Information
